fall resets
after the summer I try to reset on all fronts. after lots of sun, dips in the ocean, chlorine, and an overload of french fries and skinny margs, I need a little self check-in. below are some of the wellness focused things I try to do around this time.
EVERBODY clear and brilliant laser
I love to do a series of laser treatments after all the extra sun I get in the summer. I did 3 sessions of the clear and brilliant laser facial last Fall and noticed a difference in the hyper-pigmentation, texture and tightness of my skin. the laser helps produce more collagen and increases cellular repair, which makes you glow with fresh skin. they numb your face with a cream but it still hurts a little. I was definitely very red post treatment and needed the day to cool down so I always booked it when I had nothing that night. the next morning however, you are good to go and the glow has already begun.
ORA acupuncture
acupuncture has been an essential practice for me in the last few years, especially through recovery post knee surgery. during the summer, my priorities shifted, but fall is the perfect time to get back into it with all of the added stress that naturally comes getting back into the swing of things. KROMA cleanse

INBODY test
the in body scan gives me a great benchmark on where my body is at when it comes to the breakdown of muscle, fat and water. it's super comprehensive and takes only 20 seconds. I like to do this 4 times a year to compare the data against the goals that I set. I do this at my physical therapist’s office but you can find testing locations on their website..
MODERN AGE aging wellness assessment
I originally did this assessment because I needed more of a comprehensive blood panel and then I was interested in the bone scan since having surgery. they assess over 55 markers that have to do with metabolism, energy, inflammation, cognitive function anxiety, etc. the cognitive function evaluation was eye opening and more challenging than I thought, and I found out some issues with my thyroid that I am currently working on.
